FAQ
Straight Answers, Before You Ask
Costs, schedules, dust, cover — what households usually want to know first. Something else on your mind? Message us directly.
What will my remodel cost?
It comes down to size and fittings, yet as a rough steer: baths often fall $12k–$28k, kitchens $25k–$65k, and whole-house jobs are priced singly after a free visit. Each figure is set — the sum we agree is the sum you pay unless you alter the brief.
How long does the work usually last?
One bath often needs 2–3 weeks, a kitchen 4–6 weeks, and a full house 3–6 months by size. You receive a written timetable first, day-by-day notes as we go, and prompt word if anything moves.
Must we move out while you build?
Mostly no. We close off zones with dust screens, run air cleaners, and leave a bath plus a simple cooking corner working where we can. For whole-house jobs we will say plainly if a short move makes better sense.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — properly licensed, bonded, and covered, with permissions arranged for structural, wiring, and pipework. Papers are gladly shared before you commit.
Do you guarantee your work?
Each job includes a 2-year craft warranty alongside makers' cover on goods and fittings. If our handiwork falters, we return and put it right — at no charge.
Can I supply my own materials or fixtures?
Of course — plenty of households pick their own showpieces such as lamps or tiles. We check fit and delivery dates, then tune labour pricing so you fund only what we supply.
How do payments work?
A booking sum holds your slot, then staged sums follow finished sections — never big amounts ahead. The last sum falls due only after the walkthrough, once each snag is cleared.
Do you handle design, or just the build?
Either. Our own designers shape layouts, 3D previews, and sample boards beside you — or we build from your architect's drawings. Both ways, planning and building rest with one answerable team.
